Climate Change Guru - Sustainability & Policy Specialist

Green Horizon Indonesia is seeking a passionate Climate Change Guru to join our team in Pangkal Pinang. This role is at the forefront of climate action, shaping policies, and leading community engagement to combat climate change. As a Climate Change Guru, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainability programs, educating communities on climate change, and advising on policy development.

With over a decade of experience in sustainability and policy, Green Horizon Indonesia is dedicated to creating a greener future. In this role, you will work closely with local governments, NGOs, and communities to drive impactful change. You will use tools like ArcGIS, QGIS, and SAP for data analysis, and collaborate with stakeholders to develop sustainable policies.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Develop and implement sustainability programs to reduce carbon footprint.
• Educate communities on climate change and sustainable practices.
• Advise on policy development to support sustainability initiatives.
• Conduct data analysis using tools like ArcGIS, QGIS, and SAP.
• Collaborate with local governments, NGOs, and communities to drive impactful change.
• Monitor and report on the progress of sustainability programs.
• Participate in international climate conferences and workshops.
• Train and mentor team members on sustainability best practices.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in sustainability and policy.
• Certification in Climate Change or Sustainability from a recognized institution.
• Proficient in using data analysis tools like ArcGIS, QGIS, and SAP.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Experience in project management and stakeholder engagement.
