Chief Safety Officer (CSO) - Mining Operations

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs and protocols for mining operations.
• Oversee the training and certification of all employees and contractors in safety procedures.
• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Monitor compliance with national and international safety regulations and standards.
• Establish and maintain effective communication channels with safety committees and external stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain a strong safety culture within the organization.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the safety team to ensure the effective implementation of safety initiatives.
• Report on safety performance and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in safety management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Certifications in safety management, such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST), or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of mining safety regulations and best practices.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing safety programs and improving safety performance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and multilingual environment.
• Familiarity with using safety management software, such as SAP Safety, or similar tools.
